Summary

I am a product founder, developer, and writer. I am nowadays building an OpenAI-based assistant to help professionals with publishing needs.

Experience

• Product Founder – Weplex Communications (2019–2025). I am the founder of Weplex (Before Meplex). The goal is to build an assistant that helps professionals with online publishing needs, to update their website and marketing communication materials. Visit Weplex stakeholders feed to see what we are going in sales, marketing, user experience, and more.

• Technical Writer (2017+). Completed the 200-page book Além da Marca (pt-BR) and completed a manuscript draft for a book for founders, Slow Down to Startup. Became a verified contributor for Hackernoon. Documented UX studies, including a browser extension that adapts toolbars based on site colors (2019) and the Expression Widgets project that won the Mozilla + McArthur Foundation Design Challenge (2010).

• Product Founder – LPeU (2009–2017). Led the technical side of a Q&A and document editing platform on Google App Engine. Delivered a publishing pipeline that enabled over 700 articles with a web editor, scaling SEO traffic to 300K monthly visitors. Stack: Python, App Engine, Datastore, Memcache, Markdown, Git.

• Product Founder – Tela Social (2009–2015). Founded Tela Social and launched a new category-product in partnership with universities, conferences and a science park. Visit Tela Social historical artitles. Authored technical material, maintained the open-source project, and deployed 25+ screens for large events and science institutions. Stack: HTML5, JavaScript, Python, monitoring systems, kiosk apps.

• Software Developer – Mozilla Labs / Mozilla Minimo (2005–2009, 2010). Helped Mozilla’s first mobile browser as the user interface lead developer for Minimo. Helped ship Mozilla Chromeless, the HTML5 desktop app toolkit endorsed by Brendan Eich. Supported Mozilla marketing in Brazil as a country evangelist. Stack: XUL/XBL, JavaScript, DOM.

• Software Engineer – Yahoo! Mail and Messenger (2004–2005). Modernized Yahoo! Mail themes and prototyped a lightweight, web-based Yahoo Messenger client. Worked on large-scale deployments, PRDs, and peer reviews using web standards (CSS, HTML, DOM, XML, XHR).

• Technology Evangelist – Netscape Communications / AOL (2000–2004). Promoted browser adoption and W3C standards through presentations, technical articles, community support, and Bugzilla contributions. Served as editor for Netscape and Mozilla developer channels. Stack: XML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, University of São Paulo (ICMC/USP), 1993–2001. See early works related to dynamic HTML through the Good old days of DHTML, part of the archive The Web's Good Old Days, reflecting on experiments that blended layers, JavaScript, and interaction design during the late 1990s.
